We're a statewide Network providing leadership, coordination, and advocacy to advance new and existing farm to school efforts in Vermont classrooms, cafeterias, and communities. We're farm to school advocates, practitioners, and educators across the state. Join us! Sign up for the listerv at the top of this page.

By 2025, 75% of Vermont Schools will lead the cultural shift to a values-based food system that engages 75% of our students in integrated food system education; community-based learning; nourishing universal meals; and the experience of self-efficacy; purchasing at least 50% from a socially just and environmentally and financially sustainable regional food system.

83% of Vermont school districts report they particpate in farm to school activities; that's 52 districts, 78 schools, and 12,347 students! Find out more about your specific district at the USDA's Farm to School Census.

The Network last met May 25, 2016 in Montpelier to share progress between our Action Teams. Read more here.
